Okay, now I feel horrible for snickering every time I see an ad for the series "The Beast." (I'm sorry, I can't think of Patrick Swayze as gritty. I just... I can't.)
You can't stand him next to Sparkles (particularly not in that hideous wig) and expect anyone for one moment to think that Bella might feel conflicted.
To be fair, Bella's "conflict" in New Moon never really rang true to me. I bought that she really liked Jacob and was fond of him, but I knew if Sparkles McKillerSkin showed up again, she'd drop him like a rock off a waterfall.
