I'm kind of the same way with songs. I figure that it just takes my brain a while to adapt to the particular patterns of the song, and once I adjust to it and can follow the song without listening attentively, I love it. This is especially because I love songs I know inside out and backwards, you know? I don't know if that makes sense though.
