MediaMonkey, hands down. Easily the most customizable and useful music library out there. The auto-tag functions are of great use to those of us with obscenely large music collections. This is an "is your computer plugged in, ma'am?" sort of question, but...did you check "enable equalizer"? And yes, everything after that is pinpointing the settings you want with the sliders.
