If you want an easy (and not as problematic as it sounds) footnote for your Pelagius needs, check out the Catholic encyclopedia. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/11604a.htm I'm in a PhD program in medieval history (and decidedly not Catholic or in a religious program), and this is one of the standard places to check basic biographies/facts/etc, so it's not like the confessional bias is considered to be a big deal. The very end of the article even includes a brief mention of Germanus/Germanius and his trip to Britain to get rid of the heresy.
