I... I kind of love Renesmee. I think I'm developing Stockholm Syndrome. Please send help. I am a few months too late but hey, I will ttly bitchslap you out of feeling ANY OF THAT whenevar. Because NOT COOL. But still, this: (You know how long this book is? "Renesmee" is starting to look like a really cute name.) = so, so true. I can remember when I read the book and aside from going 'OH DEAR GOD, WHEN does this END? Read faster! Faster!', one worrying thought that kept reoccuring was 'why was my hate so violent over Renesmee's name? Why is it so cringe-worthy? Wait. No, this is bad! BAD.'
As you can see, I ramble as bad as BD so I apologise in advance. To attempt to provide a brief summary, my friend lent me the first three books this summer & while realising that they weren't great literature, I got rather addicted. & I bought BD when it came out, read it and um, then realised all the flaws in previous three books (that said, I did recognise them but they didn't bother me that much. Except Eclipse!Jabob. *shudder*). Anyway, my friend completely loves the books so I've never had anyone to criticise them. & thus so far this holiday I have been lurking about random anti-Twilight places and :Ding it.
SO after all that rambling, I have spent the entire afternoon reading all your commentary and articles and hai thur. I ttly love you. :) You made me laugh so so much and there's so many of your lines I want to quote back to you because they had me in stitches but there's too many. Essentially, it's everything you said. So really, thank youu for teh awesome. :D
