This recap was the best thing that happened to me today. Seriously. Thank you. On a lot of levels.
I've only read the first book in the series. I did so when prompted by a friend who told me they were pretty much the bestest thing ever. I ended up throwing my copy of Twilight across the room at least once and skimmed the last half because I just. Couldn't. Take it. Anymore. (and I love YA, vampires, and pulp). My friend and I are both in our thirties, so she has no excuse.
I hate these books, mostly because I can't stand their insipidity. Young people deserve better.
That said, I also love them a little because of things like your recaps. Thanks again. You made my day.
