Yeah Lousisiana got "snow," too. Bollocks. They get our hopes up! I run outside to look at the wet stuff falling down, and then I realize I don't know how to tell the difference between snow and sleet. That is the tragedy of being raised in the South.

It was snowing at 5am this morning in Jackson, MS, when I got up to catch my flight back to New York. It's been really fun watching all the weather people lose their shit because IT MIGHT SNOW IN MISSISSIPPI, and how if it does snow, they're staying inside because no one in Mississippi would know how to drive in snow/ice. Then my plane had to wait on the runway for an hour for the de-icer (there's only one?), and the pilot spend the entire time making cracks at the South and how unprepared they are for winter.

You can have all the snow you want from central PA.... hell, I'll even throw in some of the cold weather, so that it doesn't melt as quickly. We've got plenty to spare -- this morning when I got up the temperature gauge read 6.
