I've read Atlas Shrugged three times. It's a moderately entertaining work of fantasy, but the idea that Rand makes any kind of sense philosophically or realistically just cracks my shit up. The world of her fiction is not our world or a world that bears any resemblance to our reality.
I will never stop boggling over the idea that people really think her notions might work in any scenario outside the hermetically sealed, childfree, elder-free, sickness-free world of her novels.
