Yeah, there was definitely one on Thursday at the Alabama Theater. It's for my sister--it sounds like she's trying to round up a last-minute gathering.

Not according to IMDB.com's showtimes search (http://imdb.com/title/tt0073629/cinemashowtimes) for Rocky Horror Picture Show, but I have no idea how accurate that is. :)

I lost my RHPS "virginity" at the suburban Long Island Mini Cinema where the whole thing began (and don't let those city snobs from the Village tell you otherwise). It's sad that hardly anyone up here shows the thing anymore, even at Halloween. Even well-behaved troupes who obeyed the house rules (about no fire and no water) still proved to be more trouble than they were worth to the cinemas. Pity.

Oh, and props to you for a great book and to a.co.uk for beating their estimated delivery by four days:) We need to renew the discussion of donations-for-bookplates, mdear, cause I have one in need of plating now.

aw, there is an amazing cast/club in my hometown. they actually asked me to join when i went to the shows this weekend!. i hadn't been to rhps since high school (six years ago, ack), but i went on friday and saturday and it was GOLD. alas, they only perform rhps at halloween, though.

but how can you have full rhps participation with no water (squirtguns for the rain scenes)? blasphemy!

I went to go see a midnight screening of RHPS in Bethesda, DC last summer. My cousin and her friend took me... they were all dressed up in corsets, fishnets, the works. Then when we got there, it wasn't even playing. Still, they were the most fabulously-dressed pair ever to go to a showing of Monty Python's Life of Brian!

Liabiliaty Sucks, The cast I most recently preformed with cant use food because of rats and vermin. :( no fire either. Sigh We did get to use all the toys at the Hollywood Bowl show :D
