You are always so good at these news/link round ups! I just wanted to let you know of a couple of other donation options that people have, even if they can't donate much.
Many CoinStar machines are equipped to accept spare change donations to the Red Cross. There's a machine locator on their website.
Strengthen the Good is accepting & matching donations on behalf of the Red Cross (I was able to donate my piddling PayPal balance through here & have it doubled!).
Since my husband & I are not in the best of financial ways at the moment (having 2 people in grad school will do that to you), I was glad to find ways to make even my smallest cash amounts go where they would be helpful.
