Oh, and later, I may post the text of my children's (picture) book that's due today, if anyone would like to help look over it and give some feedback. It'll have to be friends-locked though, apparently, in order to protect my copyrights, so you'll need to friend on up if you're interested. (I friend everyone back as a matter of habit, pretty much.) It involves a boy named Travis looking for his lucky steel penny, his dog Yellow Dog, the Wicked Princess Jenny, and the Sock Monster.

Aww, you're welcome. You never did say what was wrong (general info, I'm not trying to pry), or I would have said more.

Also, I'm really glad I've finished the story, because now I have a couple of days (weeks, even?) to work on Black Ribbon before I have to start my chapter book for children's lit. Vladimir's proofing it for me, and then I'll put it up. :)

That's great news on both counts. I'm really looking forward to reading the next part of Black Ribbon.

As to wot was wrong - it was just a general collection of stupid, worrying things and they just piled themselves on top of me. It sounds like I'm being vague, I know. I feel a bit embarrassed about it now, but I'm very grateful for the support I received.
