We had a similar situation here. A little boy called the fire department to say that his appartment was on fire. His father was drunk at the time but managed to take the receiver and tell them that everything was under control. The firefighters came anyway, put out the fire that was all but under control... they saved the father but sadly the boy died...
They played the phonecall on the news, it was so sad. I can't believe such a thing could happen.
