I was trying not to use statements that start with "I assume," but I would assume that people dropping out of the anthology would talk to the people publishing it in the course of doing so and thus get their side of the story. It's not that Jessica (who I didn't even KNOW before any of this) did or did not magically hoodwink everyone; it's that I don't think that would even be possible.

So yeah. To say that is pretty condescending and insulting.
