Ooh, hub site good. I don't think it's megalomania at all, and you're right about acting like a professional. I like it when people I read have nicely organised links, it makes the stalking that little bit easier.

I have an HP laptop, and I love it to bits. It's mostly the design (and sadly they have updated them), it's nice and curvy so bits don't stick into me when I'm emailing in bed, and it's dark blue and silver. I've had it for two years now, and the only problems were my own fault after spilling a pint glass of water into it, AND it bounced back good as new! Oh, and the spyware I can't get rid of after looking at porn. Mine's a Pavillion, I think, and it wasn't too pricey. Very durable, pretty good storage (and upgrades easy too), blue flashing lights on my mousepad.
