I wouldn't be so sure how much money Meyer has. I mean, unless you have figures--writers really make a lot less than you'd think they do, and then there's taxes and health insurance/medical bills (you're working for yourself, not an employer), your traveling/appearances may not be paid for--who knows. A million dollars doesn't go as far as it used to. And this is her first book in two years.

Didn't John Granger also go by the name "Hogwarts Professor"? I seem to remember that also being his schtick back then--go down fighting for whatever theory it was.
