I'm from northwest Louisiana, and about an hour ago I got a text message from my workplace/university that informed me that "due to impending inclement weather, LSUS will be closed tomorrow." Our impending inclement weather? Temperatures will be below freezing, and there is a small chance of ice on the road from precipitation.

Basically the whole town is shutting down because it's a little bit colder than usual. Tsk tsk.
