Some of these were really good. The shading on the hands of #16 is well done.

I missed the first 10 minutes of the Dollhouse premier and I was totally lost for the rest of the episode. I kind of got what was going on with Eliza Dushku's character, but I'm clueless about the FBI guy. I'd like to give it another try, but why Fridays?

I hope Joss has another project ready to go. He'll probably have a lot of time to devote to it soon.

Through all the books, I thought Edward was kinda creepy. In Midnight Sun, I was pretty horrified with exactly how creepy he was. Like bringing oil so her window wouldn't creak, watching her sleep, planning his "surveillence"...I'm glad I didn't read Midnight Sun before the other books or else I'd have a whole different take on them. I was especially freaked out when he grabbed her jacket while she walked away because he wasn't done with her yet. Um, that is super scary and predictive of violent behavior. I would hope a tennaged girl would know to run away from a guy like that and not think it is romantic or that "he must really love me".

Why sexist? Just because the major blanks we've met so far are girls? Try paying attention to the background sometime, there are very clearly male blanks wandering around, too. Hell, the previews for the second episode show Echo meeting a former blank who was very male, and very, very fucked in the head. Rich males buying a girl to be eye candy for a few days is gross, and I'll give you sexist on their part, but I don't see how its sexist of the show to admit that it would happen, and show it.

Elisha's char is an 'active'. Apparently, she did something that got her into a lot of rouble. So it was either jail, or 5 years as an active in the 'Dollhouse', which apparently is ultra super secret and no one really believes exists, unless you have the money to 'rent' an active for however long you need them.

The FBI guy seems to be trying to prove the Dollhouse does exist, why, exactly, I'm not sure. Apparently there's a rogue active sending him clues, who's going around killing people.

OK wait! Stop! "WE" didn't do anything! I came home one day when I was like 11 to find a bag full of Barbie odds and ends and I asked mom what she was doing with it. She replied something like, "Oh that's the last bag of the Hannah Home donation." I never volunteered to give away squat! I mean I am just saying. I would have gladly donated them when I got older but there are a few I would have wanted to keep. You know this may be where all the bitterness started, lol.

In other news, I have a lj related question. Also, we need to talk about mom's birthday tomorrow. I don't know what to bake cuz I don't want to make something too easy.... or ok... I don't want to make something we have all the time rather. Just think about it.
