I have a stupid question - The Harry Potter series has been credited with getting a lot of kids into reading. Has the same been said for the Twilight series? Is it getting teen girls into reading? Because I can't think of any other reason as to why these Twilight readers wouldn't be aware of Stephen King's body of work. I didn't read him until I was about 16 or so, but I was well aware of his books when I was a very young reader; I just avoided them because I didn't like horror. So why are these people so ignorant?
