Mind you people have said that about Laurell K Hamilton at least from what i've heard Stephanie Meyer is not as up her own arse and pissy with her fans.

And instead of posting angsty blog entries about how hard it is to be a bestselling author she posts pictures of cars and playlists which suggest her musical taste is better than her writting ability (to me anyway :P)

This could just be cos her publishers manage her better, or it could just be cos she purposefully wrote something this bad to get talked about and make money with the million and one pieces of merchandise on her site.
