Oh. OH. OH! .... yeah. I guess that's the reason it took so long for my brain to fully process it. The 'draw back a nub' line, I could get the gist of, but the 'smearing cake' thing just about didn't make any sense. At all. I thought, like, maybe some particularly hateful guest had decided it would be hilarious to smash cake into someone else's face, or something.
