Just be aware that Great Gatsby, while being fantastic literature, is not the sort of novel you want to be reading when you are anxious/worried/upset.
But then, the first time I read Gatsby a friend had recommended it as 'a Jazz Age romance novel,' and by the time I got to the end of it, I felt like I had somehow rented Pride and Prejudice and the Blockbuster guy had given me Old Yeller instead.
