Because not only was the movie really good, if there were any doubts, Robert De Niro was worth it.

Oh sweet merciful heavens, yes. Having seen it, I don't think anybody else could have made it work the way he did. I'm not saying nobody else could have played the part, but there's something about having De Niro in that role which just kicks so very much ass.

And the people who are upset about him playing that part will never, ever understand why it was such a perfect bit of casting.
