Internalizing plot points I can kinda understand, in the "and now the mentor dies because that makes the hero have to strike out on his own" kind of way, or in the "and the villan was really the nice old man the whole time, he was just wearing a mask and using a trap door" kind of way. I can see how you internalize certain tropes that other others use well, or maybe forget that something happened exactly that way in someone else's work. There are, they say, only so many stories in the world. But whole paragraphs? Yeah, that's straight up plagarism.
