That was the last quarter or so of the article, over on the second page. He claims he didn't do it, but all the calls stopped after his arrest (except for two his lawyer claims happened elsewhere, but no one can substantiate that claim).
All I can think is that it involved some kind of brainwashing--I mean, you'll notice how he built up to the really outrageous stuff. That, and the Milgram and Zimbardo experiments explain a lot, too. Still, you would think that someone (other than the janitor, and God bless him for it) would have stopped and said, "Up someone's ass? Son, that ain't right."
