I don't disagree with the illegality of the situation, that its developers are lackwits, or that the practice is reprehensible. I found the journalfen posting hysterical because it said that playing a Sony CD equals having the rootkit installed is a bit hysterical according to sources I read (one of which I linked to).

I was not aware of the uninstaller situation, though, so thank-you for that information.
