it was a really early, really huge middle earth roleplay game. MESPT = Middle Earth SockPuppet Theatre (coined by Ann Larimer!).
It was really funny in the beginning (there's a history of sorts in the middle_earth userinfo that you linked). It had Elrond's sons applying eyedrops to the eye of Sauron, Eowyn, Faramir, Boromir, Gimli and Legolas starting a band, the gods showing up to curse themselves silly and knit, stuff like that. Got serious later on, but it was always fun. There were over five hundred puppet accounts at the end.

Kielle was actually how I found out about it and got involved. She'd found them playing with eachother and had linked it around, so I crashcoursed the whole trilogy and was preparing to play... on the exact same day she finally joined, taking the character I'd made a journal for. Back in the day of codes too, so I was a bit stuck to find out who to make ManofRohan into.
So for want of couple hours, she got known as Eomer and I developed a Theoden fixation that made Lord of the Rings fandom very enjoyable for me. She gave me my first compliment in that game. I saved it in a wordfile somewhere.
