You should read the post (http://www.livejournal.com/users/the_partyman/5582.html) that inspired the creation of the community. the_partyman expresses my frustration with the squee imbalance very well. I didn't realize it used to be the other way around, with women unable to express their joy over the hotness. But now, in any case, with our wacky gender roles, it feels like it's totally cute and acceptable for women to drool over Dominic Monaghan and want to do dirty things to him, but if a guy wants to take Evangeline Lilly back to his bunk, he's being a total sleazy perv.
