I TOTALLY think he did... I kind of wonder if he was misdiagnosed at some point for some reason, and that's why he is like "I. AM. NOT. CRAZY." But if the threat of mental illness was hovering around, even if it was an erroneous diagnosis or under control, it might be part of why Mama de Hurley kind of flipped when Hurley said something about curses -- the fear that he might be getting delusional. Or something.
