I've had a CafePress store (http://www.cafepress.com/crimsonquill) for a couple of years (all profits are donated to the American Cancer Society, btw.) and I've never had anybody say anything to me about font use. I've used a bunch of freeware fonts.
I'm with whoever said that donating to charity is covered under non-commercial use. CafePress has really strict TOS, so I would think they'd crack down on that severely, if it wasn't permitted.
